Who can attend the Functional Medicine Masterclass?
The Functional Medicine Masterclass is a post-graduate course aimed at those have previously taken the Institute for Functional Medicine’s (IFM) Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice™ course or IFM Advanced Practice Modules, either in the UK or online. Skills you will learn dovetail into IFM teachings – no matter how long how it has been since you undertook the training. We especially welcome registrations from those in the AFMCP™ Europe cohort that finishes on September 23rd 2023.

How often does this course run in the UK?
This is the first event of this type in the UK. We hope if it is successful, it will run with AFMCP Europe every time it is presented.

Is this an IFM event?
No, this event is hosted by Clinical Education. Members of the IFM teaching faculty are hosting sessions within the day.

Will I recieve CPD credits for attending the course?
Yes – CPD credits will be applied for from the CPD Certification Service and BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine).
For Medical practitioners, the application of the self-certification model as promoted by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges is recommended.

What course materials can I expect to receive?
You will have copies of all the slides in a PDF format, Clinical Education retains copyright over the slides, and therefore these are for personal use, and may not be re-purposed for commercial activities.

How many other practitioners can I expect to attend?
The intake is limited to approximately 350 practitioners; we have had a great deal of interest in the course, but are unsure at this stage how many participants will actually attend. We hope to fill the places and look forward to all attendees passing their experiences on to their colleagues.

What can I expect in terms of increased business?
The AFMCP™ course is not a business model designed to develop the financial aspects of your practice, it is a professional health care provider training programme. The Functional Medicine Masterclass has been specifically designed to fill the gap in training around business training, common challenges and how to overcome them.
Increased clinical success is generally regarded as the hallmark of a practitioner who has combined clinical skills with marketing and exposure strategies that support and reinforce the care and practice they have to offer.

The venue, etc. Venue County Hall is ideally located on the Southbank. There are a number of hotels, varying in price nearby.
