Clinical Education is a ‘not for profit’ post graduate education company. The Clinical Education Forum was initially created to share the extensive knowledge of the Clinical Education founders Michael Ash and Antony Haynes and selected experts amongst their peers. This forum is and always will be, completely free. It is open only to Healthcare Professionals that have successfully completed the easy and fast registration process.

Meet the Team

Clinical Education support forum is pleased to have a panel of experts that are highly regarded and can provide comprehensive, detailed answers to even the most complex of cases. Both US and UK based, all are practicing healthcare professionals at the coal face of patient care. Your question will be routed to the most appropriate expert for them to respond.

Michael Ash. DO, ND, BSc, RNT has been in practice for some 30 years. Building one of the largest integrative medicine clinics in the southwest of England (he sold this in 2007), he embraced the concepts of functional medicine and employed them in his clinical development from 1991. Since 1992 he has researched the role of the mucosal immune system, especially in relation to the gastrointestinal tract and applied the emerging comprehension and emerging relationships between the bacterial constituents and the immune system to his clinical needs. This clinical experience and intellectual rigor produced impressive clinical outcomes and as such he has presented in the role of ‘wet tissues’ in human health in 5 continents to thousands of clinicians over the last decade.

Michael is an adjunct faculty member of the Institute for Functional Medicine and responsible for bring the Institute’s professional training programmes to the UK and Europe. Michael is an experienced presenter able to convert complex mechanisms into comprehensible sections of information that resonate with clinical experiences. Author of numerous book chapters, articles and reviews. He works in a small specialist practice exploring the use of food substrates in the treatment of mucosal immune related disorders.

Antony Haynes BA(Hons), Dip ION, RNT is the editor of the CE Forum, and has been responsible for what was the Clinical Education Linked In Group since its inception in 2010. Antony has over 25 years of both clinical experience and teaching within the field of Nutritional Therapy which provide a robust knowledge base to ensure an effective editorial overview for all responses made by the technical team.

Antony remains focused on the essential requirements for a successful practice and develops educational aids and clinical strategies to help healthcare practitioners achieve their primary aim of improving the health of their patients. Antony remains in private practice in Harley Street London, where he employs his 27 years of clinical experience in managing the nutritional needs of his clients, who have numbered over 16,000.

Christine Bailey MSc PGCE mBANT CNHC is an award winning Nutritional Therapist, Chef, Author and Broadcaster with over 18 years of experience. With a passion for creating delicious nourishing recipes Christine has a reputation for transforming people’s health and love of real food. Working in the Food, Health & Fitness sector Christine is much sought after due to her in-depth nutritional and food expertise.

Christine has undertaken extensive academic and scientific training – she holds two BSCs, an MSC as well as a PGCE in nutrition and cookery teaching. She has also trained with the Institute of Functional Medicine IFM. She is fully registered with BANT, CNHC and is on the NHS directory of complementary therapists. Christine uses evidence based scientific research to support her work and continually reviews new research and publications advising the media and companies on nutrition and food research.
